Churches by the Book Conference
Join us in Augusta, Georgia for the 2026 Churches by the Book Conference — an annual one-day conference on biblical ecclesiology for pastors, church planters, and ministry leaders in the CSRA and beyond. This year's topic is Church Membership. Sessions are led by CABC pastor Bert Daniel and feature guest speaker Sam Emadi. Sam Emadi (PhD, Southern Seminary) is senior pastor of Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky; editor for 9Marks; cohost of the podcast Bible Talk; and author of What Should I Do Now That I’m a Christian? (Crossway, 2020), Who’s in Charge of the Church? (Crossway, 2022), and From Prisoner to Prince: The Joseph Story in Biblical Theology (IVP Academic, 2022). This conference is ideal for senior pastors, associate pastors, seminary students, church planters, elders, and church members seeking biblical training on church membership and church governance. Whether you serve a large congregation or a church plant, this one-day conference will equip you with practical, gospel-centered tools. Sign up sheet in GRBCA’s lobby.
